Whoa, awesome lyrics! I downloaded this song just after reading this, it is kind of neat to see a band that does not profess a faith that has been touched by Jesus!
Hey bro, Yeah, I have always been a fan of Creed. They have some other great lyrics that seem to exude faith check out My Own Prison and One...The lead singer Scott Stapp was recently in a New Man magazine stating he gave his life to Christ. Seems he comes from Christian stock and that is why that came out in a lot of their lyrics...Higher is played by a few Christian bands as it refers to the streets of Gold, or heaven and seems to point to God taking a person higher to heaven...while not professing to be Christian band, they do have Bible verses pop up in their lyrics...
I love Creed! I am a fan of "grungie" sounding music (bet you wouldn't have guessed that!)
I had suspected that he might be a Christian.
